Ghent University Global Campus
Ghent University was invited to join the Global Campus through a project seeking to recruit outstanding overseas university run jointly by the Ministry of Trade Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Education, and Incheon Free Economic Zone.
Ghent University "extended campus" opened in Songdo, Incheon, in September 2014, with three bioengineering departments, offering the same curricula and faculty as its home campus in Belgium.
